A United Airlines airplane flying to Puerto Rico had to make an emergency landing right after taking off at Newark Liberty International Airport after a pilot reported some mechanical issues in the plane.
After landing plane was taxied and all the 230 passenger and 9 crew members Disembark the plane safely.
“United flight 2143 from New York/Newark to San Juan, Puerto Rico returned to New York/Newark due to a mechanical issue. The aircraft landed safely and customers deplaned normally at the gate. We’ve arranged for a new aircraft to fly customers to their destination later today.”
