On Tuesday, Jan 2025, an Air Kasaï Aircraft Landed in bushes when it missed its landing at Kongolo Aerodrome after two rounds of Trying to land at the airport.
The Aircraft carried cigarettes as cargo and had Five crew members on board. According to reports, all the crew members were unharmed when they evacuated the plane after the crash.
According to the sources, the Crew had reported some technical issues 30km before the runway at Kongolo Aerodrome. While attempting to land, the airplane crashed in the bushes, and the right propeller’s right side caught fire. But thanks to the local people, the fire was extinguished by their prompt response as Local reported.
